AID and ATTENDANCE
This is a Medical reimbursement
pension for Veterans, their Spouses, and surviving spouses.
Requirements: 90 days service in one of the United States
Military services/one day during a wartime period.

World
War II -- December 7, 1941 to
December 31, 1946

Korea -- June 25, 1950 to
January 31, 1955
-
Vietnam -- August 5, 1964 to
May 7, 1975
-
Persian Gulf -- August 2, 1990,
through date to be determined by Presidential proclamation or law.
You must have a medical condition that
requires a need for assistance from someone else on a
regular basis.
This pension
pays up to: $1,632 monthly for a veteran: $1,055 monthly for a surviving spouse: $1,949
monthly for veteran and spouse. These funds may be
used to pay the following:

Nursing
Home long term care.

Assisted living or for adult
care services such as board and care.

And in
some cases it pays family members, except for the
spouse, to provide care at home.

Professional home care providers to come into the home.
Qualification is more difficult.

Up to $1200.00 to renovate
the home to help with Disability such as ramps and grab
bars.
Many deserving veterans who are eligible but may be unaware
of this valuable Pension need to be informed and we need
