The Tin Lizzie Parade Unit was
chartered in 1972 with the approval of Potentate Henry Goldy. It was
established
to be a Parade and Social Unit of Al Bahr Shrine Temple. Today, it is one
of the most active Units in Al Bahr.
Members participate not only at designated "Temple Function" parades, but also
at mini parades
scattered throughout the county, bringing the Shriners' Creed to the remotest
rural countryside.
The Tin Lizzies may also be seen giving rides to
children of all age groups, supporting other Club and Unit Fund
Raisers, whether at Al Bahr Center, other Blue Lodges or simply at a County
Park. All functions must have the
Potentate's approval.
Stated Meetings are held at a member's home, usually
after designated parades, where the Tin Lizzie ladies
not only provide a gourmet potluck, but also plan a fun social agenda for future
meetings.
Please call the President for time and location.
