The San Luis Rey Shrine Club was
formed in 1953 by Noble Marty Schroeder, with the approval of Illustrious
Sir Norman Ferguson. The Club was organized for the
purpose of perpetuating Masonic/Shrine Fellowship among
its members, who live in the North San Diego County area.
The Club's purpose is to support Al Bahr Temple and provide fellowship to all
Masons/Shriners in this area. Support is given
for the Children's Transportation Fund as well. The
organization provides good fellowship and good food for all
Masons/Shriners and guests. Full support of Al Bahr Shrine and the
Potentate is given in all activites.
